It was founded by Chen Shujie (the youngest son of Chen Jitang) in 1973. With Cantonese cuisine as its core, it has become a benchmark brand in the Asian catering industry with its excellent food quality, strict operation management and innovative service concepts. Chen Shujie studied in the United States in his early years and opened the first Lei Garden Restaurant in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong in 1973, specializing in Cantonese cuisine.
