LAY HO MA (how's it going in Cantonese)! Join me in this episode and learn how to make a sweet and spicy maple chili banana ice cream recipe to enjoy today! INGREDIENTS: 2 semi ripe bananas 2 tbsp plantbased butter 1 tbsp maple syrup pinch of cinnamon 1 scoop vanilla ice cream 1 tsp chili oil (https://youtu.be/IkBWsfsEVkM) DIRECTIONS: 1. Peel and very carefully slice the bananas in half lengthwise 2. Add the plantbased butter and maple syrup to a frying pan and heat up on medium. When the butter begins to bubble, very creafully place in the halved bananas flat side down. Baste the bananas with the pan juices and let it cook for a couple of minutes until most of the juices are gone 3. (this is optional) For fancier plating, use the upside down method to help prevent the bananas from breaking. Place a plate that's roughly the same diameter as the frying pan upside down onto the pan (like a lid). Then using oven mitts or a kitchen towel, very carefully flip the pan and plate upside down using gravity to drop the bananas onto the plate. Please be sure to have a good grip on both the pan and the plate and use extreme caution 4.
