Eggs 15pcs 2. Rock sugar 50-60g Seasoning 1. Dried chilli, some 2. Star anise 1pc 3. Cinnamon stick 1pc 4. Licorice slice 1pc 5. Bay leaf 1pc 6. Light soya sauce 2tbsp 7. Salt 1tsp 8. Sugar 1tsp Method 1. Place the eggs in a pot and add in water to cover the eggs. Then add 1-2tsp of salt and bring to boil in high heat. Turn to low heat and cook for 5-6min. Off heat and transfer the eggs into a pot of cold water. Peel the skin 2. Add the rock sugar and little water in the wok. Turn on low heat and cook till rock sugar dissolves and turn to dark brown. Then add in water and turn to high heat to boil 3. Place the eggs and seasoning 1-6 in a claypot. Add in the sugar syrup (step 2) followed by seasoning 7-9. Bring to boil and turn to low heat and simmer for 30min 4.
