With a staggering increase in vehicle repossessions taking place in 2025, inflated price gouging, predatory lending practices, and insufficient wages... New vehicle inventory is just sitting, collecting dust on dealer lots across the country. Something has got to give, and soon! In this video I provide some new, alarming stats, fact and figures surrounding the car market, while painting a picture of what's to come in 2026. Trucks that used to fly off the dealership lots are sitting for several months and sometimes 1-2 years, unsold! Ford F150s, F250s, F350s, F450s, Chevy Silverado's, Toyota Tacomas, Tundras, RAV4s, Highlanders, Sequoias, 4Runners, Land Cruisers, Ram 1500s, 2500s, etc. Everything is just sitting! Nobody is buying, nobody can afford these overpriced pieces of junk! Even the desirable trimmed vehicles like TRD Pros, ZR2 Bison, Platinums, Limited, Trailhunters, SR5s, etc are not selling. Big discounts are not enough, dealers will need to get desperate and creative to move their metal this year. So many unsold 2024s and 2025s are on lots, all while the 2026 models are arriving.
